Michelle Wilson is the new Director of Marketing for Owenby Jones Wealth Management. For the past 12 years, Michelle has been self-employed as an Event Coordinator and Corporate Buyer with a nationally based clientele. The third-fifth-grade Teacher of 10 years was awarded the Cobb County Teacher of the Year. She has also been a tennis Coach for 15 years, for young children to adults.
She was born in Thomaston, GA. She graduated from Valdosta State University with an academic and athletic scholarship, a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education, and a minor in Psychology in 1991. Associate’s degree in criminal justice from Gordon College in 1989. A member of the Psi Lambda Chapter of Chi-Omega sorority; Rush Chairman.
Married to Mark. They live in Marietta, GA, with their adorable Shar-pei, Bentley. They have two children – Zach (26) lives in San Destin, FL, and Sophie (20), a nursing student at Georgia Southern University. Michelle is of Christian faith and attends Johnson Ferry Baptist Church. Michelle enjoys mission trips and working with the women's ministry.
One of Michelle's favorite vacation areas is the Gulf Coast. Hobbies include traveling, spending time with family and friends, cooking, and reading. Her favorite sports are tennis and walking/running. Her favorite college team is the Georgia Bulldogs.
